So, watching Fringe Last week (not this Friday, but the Friday before it), I decided that as soon as it started, that I must start texting my dad everything that happened.
Here's the exact conversation, and this is just me texting, my dad didn't text me back once.
"So! I am watching fringe and will tell you everything that happens! Ooh look, shiny opening scene!!"
"And now Olivia... And Peter"
"And Walter with food once again!!!!"
"Mhmm, peter again"
"Scary stuffs..."
"Tell me when this gets annoying, it probably won't!!!"
"Oooh Olivia being all awesome and stuff"
"Oh no, no cell phone signal, it definitley means its time for a cliche scary music scene"
"And commercial"
"Hmm, now what?"
"Are you at work?"
"Are you glaring at the phone as you really don't have time to answer all this???"
"That's ok, I understand"
"I know you want me to do this all the time"
"Highlight of your day this is"
"You should put your ringtone to the doctor who theme song"
"I'm thinking of doing that."
"Wow, how long can you ignore me??"
"Oh! Commercials over"
"Wow, their is no electricity in this place is there
"Ooh, we should watch last weeks episode together, I think its my favorite"
"Aww, she was so scared"
"That's, that's me quoting from the episode"
"Not last weeks, the one right now"
"See! Eery music time!!!"
"You can tell me to stop at any time"
"But don't, this is fun"
"Yes, go talk to broyles, and somehow get him more LSD"
"He's hilarious on it"
"Adopt, I've just learned how to shoot a gun by watching this"
"That wasn't supposed to be adopt"
"I'm not sure what it was supposed to be"
"I think congratulations"
"Oh no, Olivia!!!"
"And commercial"
"Are you in a no cell service area?"
"Cause I've been doing this for nearly 29 minutes"
"Twenty."
This was the point where my dad called me up, patiently asked me why the heck I just sent him thirty five text messages while he was working on a hot stage, and then told me that I had only ten text messages left.
Dad. I love you dad. Stop running from the texts. You know you want them blowing up your phone. Stop running!
